General information concerning waste classification

The waste reception by the Umweltschutz Nord GmbH is basically possible as long as the above-specified mineral wastes are contaminated by mainly biodegradable contaminating agents. The non-biodegradable contaminating agents are only allowed in a concentration that doesn’t oppose to the re-use of treated materials, which generally complies with the Technical Regulation Z 2 established by LAGA (a German Working Committee charged with the regulation of waste disposal issues) "Requirements for the material utilisation of mineral waste”.

Those waste types that contain non-biodegradable contaminating agents or that contain persisting contaminating agents require a preliminary feasibility study that will be executed by the Umweltschutz Nord GmbH.
