TERRALAVAR® Mobile
Use of mobile treatment units on hazardous waste sites
Process description:
The use of mobile technologies provides a very economical instrument for the speedy handling of environmental problems at hazardous waste sites, when the excavated soil or building debris from the remediation can be processed in a washing plant so that refilling on-site is possible. In this case the economic efficiency of on-site soil cleansing is determined not only by the savings from the transport of the polluted soil to a stationary waste disposal plant but also by the savings for purchasing filling soil - which is produced by the mobile unit. Apart from its stationary centers for the treatment of polluted soil in Germany and Brazil with various treatment technologies, the ZECH UMWELT Group also has a number of very flexible mobile soil cleansing technologies that have already proven their worth in various large projects at home and abroad with their modular mobile technology.
Basic technical data of the mobile TERRALAVAR®- soil cleansing plants:
| Capacity: | 20-50 t/h |
| Erection area: | 1.500 m² |
| Handling area: | 1.000 m² |
| Power supply: | 400 KVA or diesel unit |
| Water/industrial effluent: | circulating waterflow |
| Products: | filling sand, gravel |
| Concentrates: | clay dry sludge |
| Erection time: | 2 to 6 weeks |
| Manpower requirements: | 2 employees/shift plus wheeled loaders with man |
ADVANTAGES OF THE MOBILE TERRALAVAR®-UNITS
Flexibility: The modular design allows you to optimise
the project-specific technology to the soil composition
and pollutant problems in a very short space
of time according to the principle as little technique
as possible, but as much as necessary.
Made-to-measure solutions: Laboratory tests carried
out beforehand, if necessary even a pilot plant
test in one of the stationary plants of the ZECH
UMWELT Group, and the many years of experience
of our employees enable exact predictions of the
course of remediation, a bespoke design of the necessary
plant technology and a favourable calculation.
High throughputs: Throughputs from 20 to over 50
t/h can be achieved with the mobile soil cleansing system.
These high throughputs guarantee a speedy procedure
on the construction site.
Wide range of pollutants: In addition to organic
pollutants such as mineral oils (MOH, BTEX), creosote
(PAH) and halogenated hydrocarbons
(CHC,VHH), heavy metals, usually from soil grains,
can also be separated. The useof mobile technology
should always be checked as an environmental alternative
to external disposal before an invitation for
tenders, especially in the case of lager hazardous
waste remediation projects.
